Climber on a bouldering wall at Ascent

Chalk up.Send it.

Ropes-free bouldering, fresh routes every week and a crew that cheers every grade. No experience, no gear, no partner needed. Your first class is on us.

From the ground to your first top-out

Bouldering is climbing stripped back. No ropes, no harness, just you, grippy shoes and a wall of colour-coded problems over thick mats. Our Intro class teaches you to fall safely and read a route in 75 minutes, then turns you loose on the walls.

Walked in never having touched a wall, left obsessed. The Intro class made falling feel safe and I sent my first V1 the same night.

Intro to Bouldering

Best set of problems in the city and they reset walls constantly, so my projects never go stale. Membership pays for itself in a week.

Footwork Lab quietly fixed everything. Marco spots the tiny thing you are doing wrong and suddenly the overhang goes.

Grabbed a day pass on a whim with a friend. Staff set us up in five minutes and we climbed for three hours. Came back the next day.

My kid does Youth Crush Club and asks about it all week. Coaches are patient, the vibe is encouraging and never intimidating.

Sunrise Open Climb before work is my favourite ritual. Quiet walls, fresh chalk, home in time for my first meeting.

I was nervous about being the weakest person in the room. Zero ego here. People cheer for your send no matter the grade.

Friday Night Send is a whole scene. Good music, packed walls, and the cafe next door for post-climb noodles. Perfect week-ender.

Slab Technique undid years of bad habits. My balance on tiny feet is a different sport now. Worth the membership alone.

Good to know

Everything you need before your first visit. Still unsure? The front desk answers fast, no question too basic.

The Intro to Bouldering class. In 75 minutes a coach covers falling, footwork and reading a wall, then you climb. No experience, no gear and no partner needed. Book it as your first visit and everything is included.

Just athletic clothes you can move in. We provide climbing shoes, chalk and crash mats. Bouldering means no ropes and no harness, so there is nothing to buy before your first session.

A day pass is 26 dollars and covers the whole day, including shoe and chalk rental. Leave for lunch and come back, your pass is good until close. No membership or commitment required.

Climbers 6 and up are welcome. Under 14 climb in our Youth Crush Club or the Family Climb Hour with a guardian on site. Everyone signs a waiver at check-in, and under-18s need a parent or guardian signature.

Bouldering routes are graded on the V scale. V0 is the friendliest starting grade and it climbs from there. Every wall is set with a spread of grades and colour-coded holds, so beginners and strong climbers share the same problem.

Yes. Ascent Monthly has no lock-in. Freeze it while you travel or cancel with one message, no fees and no phone calls. The annual Crew plan can be paused up to two months a year.
